Shake my furry.

In Swedish you can say Skaka mina lurviga, ergo Shake my furry/shaggy. This of course means to dance.
I decided quite spontaneously last Saturday that I should get out of my head for a second and dance at a concert for a band I like. The band being Friska Viljor. Friska Viljor is, if you couldn't figure it out by the name, a Swedish band. They sing indie pop in English. Jake commented: So it's a Swedish band that sings in English with a band name that only a native Swede can pronounce?
Yes, that might be true and they are a great band. Since I failed utterly to make any plans the past week that wasn't work or reading basically, I felt kind of a need to shake my shaggy with a bunch of strangers.

I arrived to Huxleys Neue Welt in Neukölln a bit before the concert starts. I've never been there before but just as so many other concert location, it reminded me of a bigger Södra Teatern in Stockholm.
Friska viljor started playing and man they where good!
I've never seen them live before even if they played in Berlin several times since I moved here. I was kind of surprised that there where so many people there to see the show. Maybe because I don't know anyone else that listens to them. Germans seem to love them though. Most of their shows in Germany where sold out.

Friska Viljor is really feel good indie pop by enthusiastic musicians. They also write songs that sound really happy but are angry when you listen to the words, which I'm a big fan of.
Joakim and Daniel, as the singers are called, made jokes between the songs, talked about dreams they had and just seemed so happy to be playing. The audience sang along to the songs and danced like crazy, me included. So happy to just be there and really having a great time.

Friska Viljor (translated it would be: Fresh desires) played all the songs I like, new songs and the last song, Shotgun Sister, was the most amazing one. Joakim and Daniel were in the middle of the concert hall and the whole crowed just sang along with high voices.  This was precisely what I needed after a weird week at work and the concert is still running on repeat in my head.
