Tom.

I wrote that I would write about books next time, but something has come up that I really feel like sharing.

This something is Tom.

Before people go and congratulate me on a new boyfriend or get any ideas like that, let's make it clear what Tom is. He has nothing to do with my love life, but he is a pretty sweet dude that likes sandwiches with strawberry marmalade and honey on.

This might be the best children's show on (German) TV now.

The plot:

Tom is going walking and he can't shake the thought for a sandwich with strawberry marmalade with honey on (ein Erdbeermarmeladebrot mit Honig). So he goes to his friend der Müller (the Miller) and asked if he has one, most of the times he doesn't, or just part of it like the bread and Tom has to go though different steps on the way to get his piece of bread. It always ends with that he shares him bread with his friends (his friends being his mum, the strawberry mouse, a crocodile and some other ones) when he get one and eats half of it himself. But it tasted so good that it like having a whole and Tom is happy, wunschlos glücklish.

This is the shit.

Me and Oskar love it. We go tomtomtomtomtomtom (how we think the intro goes), we walk like Tom, we talk about different Tom episodes and about the Erdbeermarmeladebrot mit Honig all day today after I picked him up at Kindergarten.

Tom is a pretty rad guy.

Every night at 18:30ish comes two episods of Tom. Me and Oskar will be like glue to the TV at this time to watch how he gets his Erdbeermarmeladebrot mit Honig this time.

Youtube is not my friend in finding a video with Tom and it's better when you know German. It's not hard to understand without knowing it either but anywho... For those who want to get hooked on it go to this page.
